Booklio.ai is not Bookio: two different reservation systems
Booklio.ai and Bookio are two different reservation systems from two different companies, with nothing in common. Booklio.ai is run by the Czech company 601 s.r.o. and is a free reservation system for restaurants, bars, clubs and cafés; Bookio is a paid system from Bookio Holding, based in Bratislava, for hospitality and many other trades. If search engines turn “booklio” into “bookio”, search for Booklio.ai with the .ai ending.
Why Booklio and Bookio get mixed up
The names differ by one letter, and both systems take restaurant bookings. Search engines therefore often treat “booklio” as a typo. When we searched on 1 November 2026, Google rewrote “booklio rezervační systém” (Czech for booklio reservation system) as “bookio rezervační systém”, and Seznam, the Czech search engine, asked whether we meant bookio.
Bookio has been around since 2013 and search engines know it well. The booklio.ai website is new, and until search engines learn that Booklio.ai is a separate brand, correcting the query to Bookio will stay common for a while. This article is here so anyone looking for Booklio gets a clear answer.
In short
Booklio.ai (booklio.ai) and Bookio (bookio.com) are two independent products. They aren’t two versions of the same system, they aren’t connected and they don’t share an operator. An account with one doesn’t work with the other.
Booklio.ai and Bookio side by side
The table sums up who is behind each system, who it’s for and what it costs. The details about Bookio come from its website and from articles written about it, each with a source.

What Booklio.ai is
Booklio.ai is a reservation system for venues with tables. It was created at James Dean Prague, an American diner, bar and Music Club in the centre of Prague, where breakfast, dinner at the bar and a night at the club all happen in a single day. It runs there every day.
- Free times from real tables. The website only offers times when the venue really has a table for the party, including joined tables.
- It confirms routine requests itself. A request that meets the rules is confirmed in seconds and gets a table. Staff handle the rest in one or two taps.
- Guests book through AI assistants too. Through Claude and ChatGPT, under the same rules as the website and free for the venue.
- An iPad admin. The digital reservation book goes on the iPad home screen like an app, and a new booking rings.
- Guest messages in three languages. Texts and emails in Czech, English and German, with a reminder and a cancel link.
Booklio is free in full: the core and all 9 modules cost CZK 0 a month, and you don’t pay for bookings or tables. You only pay for text messages to guests (CZK 3), drafts by Claude (CZK 3) and AI floor plan suggestions (CZK 5), excl. VAT. The details are on the Pricing and Features pages.
What Bookio is
Bookio is a reservation system that, according to its website, serves hospitality and dozens of other trades, from beauty salons to sports venues. It has dedicated pages for restaurants, bars, cafés and beer halls, and hospitality plans Basic, Standard and Premium at CZK 480 to 1,730 a month excl. VAT, with a 14-day trial (Bookio price list). Its home page says clients can also book through Google, and it lists more than 2,500 venues (bookio.com).
CzechCrunch and Svět Horeca covered Bookio’s launch in 2013, so it’s an established system with a long history. If you want one reservation system for your restaurant and another trade, such as wellness, or you need bookings right inside Google, Bookio may have what you’re looking for.
How they differ
- Trade. Booklio.ai only does table bookings for hospitality; Bookio does bookings for many trades.
- Price. Booklio.ai has no plans and no trial period after which you start paying. Bookio has paid hospitality plans and a 14-day trial.
- Google. Bookio lists booking through Google. Booklio isn’t one of the providers that let guests book right inside Google yet; you add a free link to your booking page in your Google Business Profile, as described in How to add reservations to Google Maps.
- AI assistants. Booklio has its own MCP server for bookings in Claude and ChatGPT. More in Booking through ChatGPT and Claude.
- Track record. Bookio has been around since 2013; Booklio.ai is a new system with one reference customer.
