Terms of service

  1. Who provides the service.

The Booklio reservation system (the service) is provided by 601 s.r.o., Company ID 28503554, Povltavská 5/74, 171 00 Praha 7. The customer is a business that uses Booklio for its venue, such as a restaurant, bar, club or café. These terms do not apply to consumers.

  2. What the service includes.

The booking widget and standalone booking page, the staff admin, confirmations, guest messages, stats and the optional add-ons described on the Features and Pricing pages. The service is developed continuously; features marked Coming soon are not part of it yet.

  3. Sign-up and account.

The customer signs up with the Get Booklio for free form and gives truthful details. One email can set up one venue. The customer protects access to the admin (the email link, the staff password, the manager code) and is responsible for whoever acts in the admin on its behalf.

  4. Price.

The core and all add-ons are free. The customer pays only for services listed on the Pricing page, that is text messages to guests and drafts by Claude, excluding VAT and only for what is used. The price list published on the day the service was provided applies.

  5. Changes to prices and terms.

The provider may change the price list unilaterally, including introducing or changing a charge for any or all Booklio services, and may change these terms to a reasonable extent, because the costs of the service (especially text messages, AI and servers) change over time. The provider announces any change by email and in the admin at least 30 days ahead, saying what changes and when. The customer may reject the change and terminate before it takes effect; the notice period is one month, or a shorter one the customer chooses, during which the previous prices and terms still apply, with no fee. A customer who does not terminate by that day has accepted the change.

  6. Termination.

The customer may terminate at any time by email or in the admin; the service ends on the day the customer chooses, at the latest one month after notice. The provider may terminate with one month’s notice, or without notice if the customer misuses the service, for example to send unsolicited messages or to commit fraud.

  7. Guests’ personal data.

The customer is the controller of its guests’ personal data. The provider processes it on the customer’s behalf as a processor, only to provide the service and on the customer’s instructions; the details are set out in the data processing agreement. The provider processes the customer’s own data under the privacy policy.

  8. Your data after termination and switching.

On a request made before the contract ends or within 30 days after, the provider hands over all of the venue’s data (bookings, guests, settings and stats) in a machine-readable format such as JSON or CSV, and gives reasonable help with switching to another provider. If the customer asks for it in the notice, the service keeps running for up to 30 days after the notice period so the switch can be completed. The data stays available for at least 30 days after the contract ends; then the provider deletes it completely. Handing over the data and switching are free of charge.

  9. Availability and liability.

The provider aims to keep the service running without interruption but cannot rule out outages. It is not liable for outages of third-party services the service depends on: sending texts and emails, the payment provider, AI and hosting providers.

  10. Final provisions.

The contract is formed by signing up and accepting these terms and is concluded for an indefinite period. It is governed by Czech law, in particular the Civil Code.
