Pubs and beer halls need to book tables for groups and the whole back room while leaving space for regulars who turn up unannounced. Booklio.ai is a free reservation system for pubs: it keeps some tables for walk-ins, lets staff confirm larger groups, and lets you block a space for a private event.
What a pub needs from bookings
- Tables for groups. A group of ten needs tables pushed together, and someone has to keep track of that.
- Space for regulars. People who come in every day don’t book, and they still want a seat.
- The back room and the beer garden. Each space has its own capacity and opening hours.
- Private events. A party or a company night takes a whole space, and the website mustn’t keep offering it.
How Booklio handles it
- Joining tables. Free times are worked out from table capacity and from which tables can be joined.
- Staff confirm larger groups. Only requests for up to 6 people with no special requests confirm automatically; a larger group is assessed by someone who can see the room.
- Capacity for walk-ins. At peak times the website offers only some of your tables (50 to 100%), and the rest stays for regulars.
- Several spaces. The main room, the back room and the beer garden, each with its own rules and opening hours.
- Blocks. The whole venue, a space or selected tables, all day or for a few hours. The website and AI assistants respect it straight away.
- The guest database. All your guests in one place, with GDPR erasure on request in one tap.
- Events and invitations. Enter an event once and it’s on your website, and invitations go by email and text to guests who want them.
- Reminders and the no-show list. Guests get a reminder with a cancel link, and anyone who doesn’t show three times is flagged on the no-show list.

Booklio is free: the core and all 9 add-ons for CZK 0 a month, with no charge per booking or table. You pay only for text messages to guests (CZK 3) and drafts by Claude (CZK 3), excl. Signing up takes a few minutes and needs no card. In the admin guide you set your opening hours, spaces and tables in about 5 minutes, and you embed the booking widget on your website with two lines of code. Without a website, a link to the standalone booking page is enough.
